James began his media career in 1985 and began focusing on financial services in 1987, specialising in the field of private wealth management, both in the UK and around the world, from 1990 onwards. James founded the business of PAM Insight in 1993, launching and managing a range of specialist publications for organisations such as STEP, AIMA, CIOT, ATT and the Actuarial Profession. He launched Wealth Management magazine in 1997, then the UK edition of PAM (Private Asset Managers) and the PAM Awards in 1999, following this with the launch of www.pamonline.com in 2001, www.thewealthnet.com in 2002 and www.eprivateclient.com in 2003. James has been Chairman of the UK-based PAM Awards’ Judging Panel since its inception in 2000. He is now focused on extending PAM Insight's content delivery and product development in key financial centres around the world outside the UK, establishing PAM Insight SA in Switzerland in 2012.
